Service Description
For team leaders, helping professionals, and caregivers, the greatest tool you possess is your own nervous system calm. This 1-1 private apprenticeship transforms Reiki from an abstract energetic practice into a sustainable, portable nervous system regulator. The Usui Reiki Apprenticeship I offer the full training and certification in Usui Reiki (Levels I and II) using William Rand's foundational book, "The Healing Touch." In this container, we bridge traditional Usui history, wisdom, and protocols with the neurobiology of autonomic regulation and co-regulation. You will learn how the intentional practices of Reiki interface with the body's biofield and energy centers, providing you with a sustainable, portable method of nervous system care. Structure & Logistics • Availability: In person in Kalamazoo, MI, or online from anywhere. • Format: Each level requires 4 sessions. To ensure your learning is consistently and safely integrated, we meet weekly. • Investment: $400 per level. Honoring Your Agency Upon completion of either Reiki I or II, you are fully empowered to choose your next steps. There is no obligation to continue. If you wish to further translate and deepen your practice, you may choose to transition into my mentoring program. Ultimately, this container is built to respect your professional autonomy—you are the sole authority on what works best for you and your journey. Grounded in the neurobiology of bottom-up processing, you will train your body to become its own manageable biofield device. By mapping energetic pathways directly onto your autonomic nervous system, you will learn how to intentionally drop your heart rate, shift out of sympathetic overdrive, and signal safety to your brainstem in real-time. Less notice or no-shows will be charged the full session fee (emergencies/illness excepted). • Session Safety & Clarity: Please refrain from alcohol or non-prescribed substances for 48 hours prior to your appointment. Sessions will be canceled without a refund if substance use compromises safety or clinical clarity. • Responsibility & Confidentiality: Your sessions are strictly confidential.
